Infinitely refillable with standard-size loose-leaf paper or paper of one's own preference. They are designed for many purposes, are available with personalised lettering on the front, and are carefully handmade from top quality, Italian full-grain leather in a variety of colour combinations. A simple leather clasp holds the jotter shut when not in use.
This clever design will appeal to the writer, artist, traveller, diarist and notetaker as it can be endlessly, and very simply, refilled with paper by means of unfastening the metal fittings that hold the paper in place.
Paper refills are readily available either from ourselves, or from stationary suppliers, and this item can be easily customised to hold quality sketchbook or watercolour paper.
This item can be personalised with a text: maybe a name or monogram or inspirational quote. All variations can be made without lettering if desired.
The lettering is achieved by the use of our antique bookbinding branding tools. These are individually hand-stamped onto the leather and impart a lovely quirky quality to the text, that is not achievable with mass-produced items. All letters in this style are a mixture of different styles & scales of fonts. They are all uppercase and are applied individually by hand to the leather. (Please note that due to the hand-stamped nature of this service, character placement and spacing will vary and be of an 'organic' nature - see images). Maximum quantity of letters/characters for this option is 80 - PLEASE ENSURE THE CORRECT PAYMENT OPTIONS FOR TEXT QUANTITY IS SELECTED to avoid any delay.
Although we highly recommend the use of our antique bookbinding 'blocking' tools to apply any letters and words, we also have an ordinary non-serif font (Helvetica) that can be imprinted up to a maximum of 14 letters as standard, but in greater quantities by special request.

The paper size is 205mm x 165mm (8" x 6½") and the standard jotter will hold approx 50 sheets.
